Vion is an international producer of meat, meat products and plant based alternatives with production locations in the Netherlands and Germany. Vion has sales support offices in thirteen countries worldwide. Our four Business Units Pork, Beef, Food Service and Retail, provide fresh pork, beef, meat products, plant based alternatives and by-products for retail, foodservice and the meat processing industry.

We supply customers in our home markets of the Netherlands and Germany, as well as in other countries all over the world. Our headquarters are located in Boxtel, the Netherlands.

The Role

  • Qualitäts- und Kennzahlenorientierte Steuerung des gesamten Betriebs
  • Leitung der Produktion (Schlachtung, Zerlegung, Verpackung, Technik, Versand)
  • Laufende Optimierung der Produktionsprozesse
  • Investitions- und Budgetplanung
  • Personalführung, Personalplanung und Personalentwicklung in der Produktion
  • Verantwortung für Einhaltung der lebensmittelrechtlichen Sicherheits- und Qualitätsstandards
  • Ansprechpartner für Externe, insbesondere Behörden

The profile

Fachliche

  • Ausbildung als Metzger / Fleischer (m/w/d), Fachkraft für Lebensmitteltechnik (m/w/d) mit kaufmännischer Zusatzausbildung
  • Hochschulabschluss Lebensmitteltechnologie, Lebensmittelmanagement oder Agrarwissenschaften
  • Idealerweise Erfahrung in einer Matrixorganisation
  • Vertiefte Produktkenntnisse im Bereich Rindfleisch
  • IT-Grundkenntnisse (MS Word, Excel)
  • Kenntnisse über grundlegende rechtliche Bestimmungen im Bereich Rindfleischverarbeitung (Hygiene, Lebensmittelsicherheit, Rückverfolgung, Kennzeichnung etc.)

 

Persönliche

  • Führungserfahrung in der Fleischindustrie wünschenswert
  • Souveränes Auftreten und hohe Kommunikationsfähigkeit
  • Hohe Eigeninitiative
  • Ausgeprägtes Kostenbewusstsein
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse der deutschen und englischen Sprache in Wort und Schrift
  • Belastbarkeit / Stressresistenz
  • Verantwortungsübernehmend
